A little over a year ago, I wrote about the A770 Standard being developed by the Canadian Standards Association. At the time, the draft standard had been released for public comment. You can read my comments by clicking here.

All of the comments were reviewed by the panel and the draft Standard has been through several iterations since that time.  The draft A770 Standard has been through the committee balloting process, and is nearly ready for publication. Subject to some possible fine tuning over the next week or so, the expectation is that the A770 Home Inspection Standard will be published sometime around the end of February.
