Home inspections are an invaluable tool in the real estate transaction. A home inspection is a visual, non-destructive evaluation of the major systems of the house, including:
- Roofing
- Structure
- Heating system
- Air Conditioning system
- Electrical system
- Plumbing
- Windows and Doors
- Attic
- Exterior Cladding
- And More…
Home inspections performed by Clarke Engineering meet or exceed industry requirements such as the Standards of Practice of the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors and the American Society of Home Inspectors. Our inspections even meet the CAN/CSA-A770-16 Home Inspection Standard. (In fact, Graham Clarke is a member of the committee that developed the CSA standard). You are encouraged to attend the home inspection for a live account of the findings. Your home inspection report will be sent to you the same day as the inspection via email.
Thermal imaging (“thermography”, “infrared”) inspection for leakage issues is available as an added option to your home inspection. Mould inspections can also be included, on request.
